1 Create your SEO plan

Let’s start by thinking about what it is we want to achieve with your SEO strategy. For this website, we used the following plan, considered in general the very basics that one needs to cover before jumping into link acquisition.

Fix All Technical Errors

Keywords Research

Keywords are a critical factor in the ranking algorithms used by search engines, like Google. On-page keyword usage boosts your content’s search performance, by up to 15.04%. If you want to attract new prospects, you will need to work out what keywords they’re searching for and create useful, helpful and evergreen content, based on those keywords.

Once you figure out what keywords are important for your business you should create rich post titles. No matter what you’re writing – blog posts, social media ads, emails – the headline is crucial. A keyword-rich headline will always outperform a generic one. You should start thinking about what those titles might be.

Content strategy

Schedule posts or updates to the content of your website (more) frequently. Also think about creating content on third party sites that links back to your own site. Pick three or four domains of our own for guest blogging with incoming links to our website. Many site owners would also create web 2.0 properties and fill it with content around our main website posts with incoming links. And last but not least, submit your posts to Reddit – yes, this also still works.

You can also explore trying to get questions and answer sites to link to your site, or connecting with other bloggers or experts in your field to see if they are interested in writing about you(r business or idea).

Demote irrelevant Google sitelinks

While Google site links are automatically generated, we need to demote URLS we don’t want to show; this may increase the chances that the URLS you do want listed show up. Start thinking about what those important parts of your website are. What content is unique and or important? What content is not?

Develop a Strong Site Architecture

As per my experience the better your site architecture, the less backlinks you will need. As we are going to focus on content-driven SEO approach, then I recommend the reverse silo website structure.
